A sensational journey for all
I would be hard pushed to find many attractions of this calibre when it comes to being accessible and inclusive. Dare I say, one of Scotland's top ten accessible attractions!

We aim to make your visit to The Scotch Whisky Experience as accessible and enjoyable as we can. We are always looking at ways in which we can enhance our visitor experience for all. If you have any ideas on improvements that we can make, then please let us know. We welcome those with hidden disabilities. If it’s your preference to visit during quieter times, let us know and we can recommend a time for you.
Download our access guide for full information on the accessibility of your visit throughout our building and on our tour. There is also information for hard of hearing customers and visually impaired visitors. We welcome assistance dogs – water bowls are available from our box office reception. Carers are admitted free of charge. If carers wish to fully participate on any tour and experience, they will be charged at full-price.
We are proud to have partnered with Deaf Action to translate our brand new tour experiences into BSL and ASL. We’re also delighted to have received a review on the website Silver Travel Advisor, on the blog ‘Simply Emma’ , The Bimblers and have had an article and information published on The Rough Guide to Accessible Britain and on the Bright Care website about places to go with an elderly relative. We’d love to receive more reviews on our accessibility, so please do upload your reviews to sites such as the above.
And if you would like to read our own blog piece on accessibility, please see here.
Watch some of our lovely visitors discuss the launch of our British Sign Language tour:
Excellent for hard of hearing - I am hard of hearing. I advised them of this on arrival and had the best experience ever. I was treated like a VIP! I was given a handset that translated into subtitles (and BSL). The tour guide ensured I sat near to him so I could hear. Amazing and discrete. Tour was good too, and the whisky tasting was lovely.

My wife and I just concluded your Gold Tour at the Scotch Whisky Experience and had a wonderful time. From the greeting to the hospitality, to the accommodations for my wheelchair, your team was outstanding in every way.
