The tasting was led by a very knowledgeable guide in a manner similar to wine tasting. You observe the colour, spend some time on the aromas and then taste - we had a blast!
Thoroughly enjoyed the Platinum tour! As a novice whisky drinker I learnt so much, and discovered a scotch I LOVE too. Recommend if you're curious to learn and generally enjoy some excellent scotch.
Took the Platinum Tour last Friday and it was certainly the best thing I did that day, and perhaps all trip! Normally a bourbon drinker, I learned so much about the process of making Scotch, as well as how to actually appreciate a dram.
A fantastic experience - I thought the visuals and effects used were quite special. Great value for money - good opportunity to learn and whisky tasting included.
